Mas Selamat bin Kastari (born 23 January 1961), an Indonesian-born Singaporean, is Singapore’s most-wanted terror fugitive who escaped from detention on 27 February 2008. In a quiet corner, in a forgotten neighborhood in Singapore, a man ply his outdated plastic phones among other wares for sale. In affluent Singapore, the bargain prizes attract only the immigrant workers and maids who service the posh Katong district. Hardly any local patronize the run down mall.
